Confidencial Imobiliário magazine was launched in 1988. Since then, the Confidencial Imobiliário Price Index has been the oldest statistical series on the national real estate market. The index's temporal scope and credibility mean that it is referenced by the most important authorities in the national and international financial system, from the Bank of Portugal to the European Central Bank and the Bank for International Settlements. In Portugal, it is used by almost all the main credit institutions.

Economist with a master's degree in quantitative methods from the Porto School of Economics, launched and coordinated the National Statistics Institute's Construction and Housing Price Indicators System. Since 2006, has been the director of Confidencial Imobiliário magazine, where oversees its statistical production, particularly the SIR - Sistema de Informação Residencial (Residential Information System). As a market specialist, takes part in various postgraduate courses in real estate, particularly those at ISEG and Porto Business School, and is also a regular presence in the main national media.

Manager (FEP-UP) and MBA in Marketing (UCP), he is the founder and director of Vida Imobiliária magazine. He has extensive experience in producing market indicators, having launched the Lisbon Prime Index and the IPD - Investment Property Databank in Portugal. He teaches in several post-graduate real estate programs.
