In 2020 international buyers represented 40% of housing investment in Lisbon’s ARU

In a year which was almost entirely marked by the pandemic outbreak, international buyers invested €739,1 million in housing in Lisbon’s Urban Renewal Area (ARU), which represents a yoy decrease of only 3% when compared to the €761,8 million traded in 2019. In terms of number of buildings, the yoy drop was 10%, when comparing the 1,509 deals which took place in 2020 with the 1,673 that took place in 2019.
