Housing pipeline In Portugal increases 17% to 43,800 dwellings

In 2022, a total of 19,500 new housing projects were submitted for municipal licensing in Portugal, totalling 43,800 dwellings. This pipeline reflects an increase of 20% in number of projects and 17% in number of dwellings compared to 2021, a year in which the new residential pipeline accounted for 16,300 new residential projects totalling 37,450 dwellings.
