Lisbon and Porto register 60% drop in dwellings under licensing

Lisbon and Porto registered a sharp drop in housing development activity at the start of the year, both with a pipeline of around 30 housing projects generating 250 dwellings in the first quarter of 2022. In both cities, the drop in number of dwellings within the portfolio was around 60% of the number of dwellings under licensing during the same period last year, when there were around 600 dwellings under licensing.
